Your measurements.
On your Mac.

What data Breeze uses, where it is stored and why it needs an internet connection.

Temperatures and fan speed.

Breeze reads the available sensors and fans on your Mac.

Sources correspond to hardware components: CPU, GPU, battery and other available sensors. The set depends on the model.

The current session's history is held in app memory. Temperatures and fan speeds are not sent to the license server.

What is saved on your Mac.

Settings

Appearance, selected sources, temperature rules and other settings are saved between launches.

Trial and license

The app saves access information and the trial start date.

CSV logs

Enable logging in settings. Files are saved to your chosen folder at the specified interval.

Export measurements

When you request it, a file is created with current readings, history, freshness statuses and peak values.

Activation and updates.

Network requests are needed for license checks and updates.

During activation and license checks, Breeze sends the license key, the device's public key, a technical Mac identifier and a signed request over HTTPS. The identifier is used to track the trial and transfer licenses; this data is not anonymous.

The server receives an IP address when a connection is made. The license server uses it in memory for rate limiting; HTTP access logs for this service are disabled.

Update checks access the feed over HTTPS. The downloaded archive is verified against its checksum. Automatic checks and downloads are enabled separately in settings.

You choose
what to record.

CSV logs are created only when logging is enabled and a folder is selected.

You can log temperatures, fan speeds or both. Export files and logs remain in your chosen location until you delete them.

You can clear the current session's history and peak values in the app. Saved files are deleted separately.

Payment and your license email.

Stripe processes payments; Google Workspace delivers license emails.

The Breeze server uses the buyer's email, plan, order and payment identifiers, paid period and license status. The Breeze server does not receive the full card number or its security code.

Before paying, the buyer accepts the purchase terms. The order records the terms version, checksum and the time Stripe confirms consent. A copy of the terms for that order is attached to the license email.

Your key is sent from hello@breezeformac.com through Google Workspace. Email addresses are encrypted in the Breeze database; the message is accessible to its recipient and email provider. A purchase does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Daily server backups are encrypted and retained for 90 days. Recovery copies may be stored separately from the main server.

To give you access to your order, the website uses a technical cookie valid for up to 30 days. It contains no license key and is not used for advertising.

Your language and theme choices are saved only in this browser. On your first visit, the language follows your browser settings: Russian for a Russian language setting, English for all others. These preferences are not used for analytics or advertising.
